Biography
Created by the wizard Pentho from the blood, toenail clippings, and residual magical energy signature of the hero named Deuco, this repugnant creature is a nexus point of transfer between positive and negative energy.
Pentho intended to use his creation to destroy Deuco, his nemesis. He named the monster after Deuco, as a form of mockery. But the creature's half-rotten brain could not grasp the distinction. It heard its master's frequent tirades against "Dooso," contemptuous descriptions of his "insipid heroics," and oath after oath to destroy him utterly -- all while suffering magical abuse at Pentho's hands. Thus the monster came to identify himself as the object of Pentho's contempt: "Dooso."
At an opportune moment, he escaped from Pentho's dungeon into the Rogue Isles. He wandered for months, avoiding capture by keeping on the move. He trusted no one. Still believing himself a hero, he tried his best to apply heroic ideals to a world of chaos. His efforts and claim of identity eventually drew the attention of the real Deuco, who sought him out and brought him to Paragon City to help guide his development.

Personality
Dooso is simple-minded -- but his intelligence is often underestimated because of his appearance. He is proving to be honest and trustworthy.
Powers
Dooso has the power to channel energy; he can use it to protect himself from harm, and move at incredible speeds. He generates negative energy as a byproduct of this process, and he can siphon energy directly from others to sustain himself. He can also use magic to make himself invisible (which he does nearly all the time, to hide his monstrous appearance).
