Biography
Nearly nine billion miles from our sun, a dwarf planet approaches its aphelion. Of the objects known to orbit the sun directly, it is the farthest away. Discovered only as recently as 2005 due the eccentricity and inclination of its orbit, it was given the name Eris in September 2006.
Naturally, the classification of this new dwarf planet caused upheaval throughout the magical community. Its orbital position and gravitational influence must now factor into spells of many kinds, revising centuries of astrological calculations.
The goddess of chaos for whom the planet was named finds this somewhat amusing. She has therefore sent an avatar to hold dominion over the planetoid.
This being, female in form and bearing the name Eris Midnight, is but a facet of divine power. She is the personification of the cold, dark isolation of the planet itself.
For reasons unspoken, Eris Midnight journeyed to Earth in 2008. She has since deigned to influence human affairs on a number of occasions, working with MAGI and the Midnighter Club. Lately she has migrated to the Rogue Isles, where she fans the flames of chaos to her own ends.

Personality
Like her namesake, Eris Midnight is cold and distant. She cares little for Earth and its inhabitants, save for their role in greater cosmic events.
Powers
From the depths of space, she carries the darkness and cold of the world she represents.
