Biography
It's not easy being a gifted child of superhero parents. People are always expecting you to act like a grownup, but they still don't let you play with the antimatter reactor, or the inverse quantum field manipulator, or the wormhole drillbits, or any of the really cool stuff.
Like my Dad's own RetCon drive, for example. That thing is so cool. I know exactly how to use it, too, I was watching him while my hologram simulation was doing my homework. Some stupid poetry assignment, I told it to compose a sonnet about spiders. Anyway I hope it got finished, because now we're in some alter-reality and I don't know how I can be expected to turn it in from here.

After arriving in Paragon City, Miriam began volunteering for SERAPH at her father's suggestion. She spent a couple of years fighting petty crime around the city, until one day she encountered her future self. The older Miriam sent the younger into the future, and has remained in the present to replace her.

Personality

Miriam is naturally precocious. Her curiosity sometimes gets her into trouble, but her confidence is supreme. She is often frustrated at being underestimated, and believes realizes that she knows better than most grownups.

Powers

Miriam's mind is as willful as it is intelligent. She can stand toe to toe with would-be abductors, and fill them with self-doubt just by making eye contact. Her physical enhancements include rapid cellular regeneration, immunity to disease, and the ability to channel energy through her fists.

Miriam is a character from the "Less Filling" faction of the Sketchbook Conspiracy comic jam. Willpower seemed an obvious choice for her primary, based on her personality and her resistance to mind probe attack. Energy Melee became just as natural a choice after the ker-nads incident.
