Biography
Bernice Robbins was a research assistant at a laboratory developing a cold fusion reactor. Everything was running smoothly, and they had no way to know that a nearly identical project, occupying the same spacetime in a parallel dimension, would cause trouble. The procedure brought the two superimposed reactor cores into an overlapping phase frequency, close enough to cause quantum wave dissonance and a rapid increase in their heat. Gone unchecked, this would have resulted in a conventional thermonuclear reaction and wiped out the city.
Fortunately, the accident imbued Bernice (and her alterdimensional counterpart) with the ability to absorb thermal energy. Acting immediately, and purely on instinct, she was able to control the temperature until the nuclear fuel was spent. But she wasn't able to dissipate the built-up energy harmlessly, and she inadvertently destroyed the lab. It was only then that she realized she had been empowered.
She sought advice from SERAPH, and learned more about her abilities. They solicited her assistance with the citywide crimefighting effort, and, fresh out of a job since the lab's destruction, she agreed.

Personality
Bernice is on the quiet side, she only says what's really worth saying. She prefers to let others take the leadership role, but she won't follow someone she doesn't respect just because they're in that position. In combat she's confident and courageous.

Miss Brr has the ability to absorb thermal energy and transform it into kinetic energy.

I rolled this character intending to duo her with a fire tank that a friend of mine told me he had. By the time I found out my friend had left the game, I was already in love with the burst damage (hello, Aim and Build Up by level six??!?) and so I kept the character. Turns out the build only got better from there. She's definitely in my top three most fun toons to play.
