Biography
A specialized unit within the PPD Ghost forces, the Paragon Police Department Poltergeist Squad (otherwise known simply as 'PPD Geists') represent law enforcement's marriage of stealth with technology in their fight against crime.
The newest addition to the police force, Geist Units are outfitted with high-tech armaments that allow them to manipulate motion within a localized area, both in the form of kinetics and potential energy. Though their abilities are similar to the telekinetic powers of the Psi-Ops Division, their wielding of force energies are not performed on so minute a level as those capable of wielding it mentally. Fine manipulation of that sort requires direct interaction between brain and target mass, a level of sophistication that paramilitary technology has not quite achieved.
It is precisely their wild handling of motion that earned this squad its nickname. Outfitted with other complementary gear, they remain a force to be reckoned with.
Affiliations
PPD Geist is a member of the PPD? strike team on the Virtue server, operating out of the Atlas Park Arbiters? supergroup. In particular, PPD Geist is a member of the greater Paragon Police Department, Poltergeist Squad?.
Personality
Much like all other law enforcement officials, members of this particular squad will be the first to risk their lives to save others.
Powers
WMC Gauntlets
Members of the PPD? Poltergeist Squad? are outfitted with special tech referred to as Wild Motion Control Gauntlets and given training in their use. These armaments allow their users to manipulate local energies in both their kinetic and potential states, often turning the tide in sieges and other confrontations on the field.
Ghost Stealth
With their origins within the PPD Ghost ranks, PPD Geist units also make use of stealth technology while on assignment.

In addition to the high-tech gauntlets, the Poltergeist Squad? is equipped with a LifeSigns® portable emitter to better bring medical aid to allies on the field.
