Biography
Scientists dabbling in less-than-ethical research fused a man (for rational thought), a rat (for survivability), and an old refrigerator compressor (because it was just sitting around the lab). The resulting freak of science died. But what they learned from it was that old refrigerator compressors aren't good for experimentation.
So they went and bought a NEW one.
