Biography
Ozawa Tsukashi built the original RONIN Units (Robotic Operation - Neutrino Induction Neosapien) to work alongside the Freedom Phalanx, serving as localized peacekeepers and help. The first Rikti War, however, took it's toll on the once plentiful robots, and they were thought destroyed.
During the recent Faultline rebuilding, this unit was found, buried under tons of debris. While the leakage from Faultline Dam had rusted it's outer casing, it's mechanisms were still intact. After getting its bearings, it discovered that the other RONIN Units were defunct, and Dr. Tsukashi was deceased.
Knowing only it's directives to enforce the law and protect the citizens of the city, it applied for full-fledged hero status from Paragon City Hall. Its time spent alone had allowed it to form a sort of consciousness, and City Hall approved its status.

Rusted Ronin is a member of the Crimson Omni-Gods supergroup on the Justice server.
Personality
As a robot, he has very little personality beyond his programmed directives.
Powers
The RONIN Units were built for damage. Its internal power plant generates extreme heat that is then expelled in various styles of flame.
